Who We Are
Helpful Tiger is your source for product reviews, distilled.
We know from firsthand experience, how annoying it can be to find the best product when you’re wanting to buy something.
All of the top review websites don’t make this any easier when they list something like 10 different options for what you’re looking for.
If you’re anything like me, your Google search will look something like: “Best Shampoo For Balding Heads Reddit” just to avoid these typical review websites.
This blog does that for you.
We filter through the Reddit comment suggestions, take into account what some other review websites might recommend, and gather all that information to recommend the best option for you. We might give you some alternative picks if they are really necessary, but we make the deciding process easy with clear and concise choices.
Oh… and my head isn’t balding.. I just have a slight receding hairline ;P
About The Founder
Hi, I’m Carmine Grossi!
I’m a bit of a nerd when it comes to buying things online. I dig deep through online forums and Reddit to find any flaws that a product might have before spending my hard earned money on it.
This blog is an extension of that research, in blog form, to help you find the best products of all types in one easy place so you can have some confidence in the purchases you make without all of the difficult work of sifting through crappy online reviews.
In a weird kind of way, doing this sort of research is a passion of mine.
Whenever family or friends are planning on buying something, I usually stop them and get them to let me do some research before they make a decision. More often than not, they’re surprised with the dirt I can dig up on a topic.
How We Research
Like I said above, if I’m about to buy something, I like to find what actual people are saying about something before I buy it.
When I read the usual review websites online, I often find that they contain garbage information. They’re usually filled with people that pretend to have tried something when they haven’t, or they have so much filler content that I really don’t care about.
By reading forums dedicated to a specific product, you often find people that are passionate about those types of products or have tried many different ones that didn’t work for them and share what worked best for them instead.
The same thing goes for Reddit. You are getting a consensus of people voting on information, this typically means that the good information which most people agree with goes to the top, while information that is spammy gets voted down and hidden.
